Walking for Jesus
On Saturday morning members of various churches joined together for the annual Walk For Jesus.
The event started at the Progressive Resourse Center and traveled down Main Street with stops for prayer at the Appling County Courthouse and other spots along the route. A good crowd turned out for the event. On Thursday several events were held in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer including Mayor Steve Rigdon’s annual prayer breakfast and then a time of prayer was held in the afternoon at the Appling County Courthouse Annex Building.
