Dear Editor,

I want to thank Mr. Nathan Page and Mr. Jamie Gardner for their articles in The Baxley News-Banner on April 25.

It is sad to think that some in this county have used this tragedy to attack our elected officials. I just have one question, “Are they speaking personally or politically?” I say it is time for all of us to let this family grieve their loss in peace.
