Betty Ruth Rentz Truett
Betty Ruth Rentz Truett, 65, of Graham, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Mrs. Truitt was born in Graham. She was the daughter of the late Levi Grady Rentz and Annie Ruth Hesters Rentz and was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Rentz. Betty was an accounting office associate and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Steven Weikel of Dewart, PA and Susie and Terry Meeks of Graham; one son, Jamey Truett of Graham; grandchildren, Sterling Lukas Weikel, Jacob Levi Weikel, Dakoda Meeks, Kiann Repnyek Weikel, Savannah Truett, Dustin Meeks, Tarah Weikel and Ashton Weikel; great-grandchild, Austin Weikel; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris Rentz of Vidalia, Joyce and Joby Rowell of Hazlehurst, and Joann and Lee Bass of Graham; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Holt and Vivian Rentz, Buddy and Annette Rentz, Don and Loney Mae Rentz and Benny Rentz, all of Graham; special cousins, Joan Rowell and Margaret Herrington, both of Graham; and many other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Apr. 28 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Stone, Rev. Robert Wigley, Rev. Billy Gardner and Rebecca Weikel officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Dax Rowell, Tracey Rowell, Sterling Weikel, Jacob Weikel, Dakoda Meeks, Dustin Meeks, Kiann Weikel and Peanut Waters.
Musical selections were rendered by Terry Hesters and Savannah Truett.
Arrangements were under the direction of Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst.
