Mayor Steve Rigdon and the City of Baxley invite you to enjoy a scenic walk/run through the small town of Baxley on Saturday, April 14 on the morning of our annual Baxley Tree Fest.
The walk/run is a great way to start your day filled with festival activities and entertainment. The race will begin and end around the parking lot of David E. Miles Funeral Home and First United Methodist Church. Pre-registration is available at the Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce located at 305 W Parker Street through April 13.
Registration on race day begins at 7:00 a.m. and the 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 8:00 a.m. followed by the 5K at 8:30. The entry fee for adults is $15 and for children 14 & under is $10.
Each Tree Trek entry includes a t-shirt and one ticket to the Annual Boy Scout Troop 472 Pancake Breakfast held across from the finish line. Additional pancake breakfast tickets may be purchased at the door for $5. Pancake breakfast hours are from 7:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. You’ll be able walk/run and then refuel with a delicious breakfast!
