Lillie Mae Hatcher
Lillie Mae Hatcher, 94, of Rochelle, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at her home. She was born on November 1, 1917 in Burke County.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Maggie Lene Cullen and Willie Frank Royal, Sr.; husband: Thomas Felder Hatcher; five brothers: Cleveland Royal, D.H. Royal, W.F. Royal, Thomas Royal, and Fred Royal; and two sisters: Magalene Robertson and Mary Mobley.
She is survived by nine nieces, two nephews, twenty great nieces and nephews, forty-seven great-great nieces and nephews, five great-great-great nieces and nephews, and one sister-in-law.
Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Hardy Towns Funeral Home in Eastman.
Graveside Services were held at the Burke County Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday with the Rev. Nancy Lee Cater officiating.
Towns Funeral Home of Alamo was in charge of arrangements.
