ACA Eagle Baseball and Softball teams continue winning streaks
After losing their first two games of the young season, the baseball Eagles have come roaring back with four consecutive wins over Barnes Academy of Hartwell, First Presbyterian of Hinesville, Highland of Valdosta and Bible Baptist of Hampton. The baseball Eagles are 1-1 in league play and 4-1 overall thus far this season.
Players leading the way for the streaking Eagles include Bruce Livingston with a batting average of .667, followed by Andrew Phillips batting at .500 and Dallas Johnson hitting at a .333 clip. Bryce Livingston is leading all pitchers with an earned run average of 3.28.
The Lady Eagles won their first three games before bowing to Trinity Christian of Jacksonville. Since the Trinity game, the Lady Eagles have bounced back to beat Highland Christian of Valdosta. The Lady Eagles are sporting a 4-1 mark in the early season. They are 3-0 in league play.
Hitting and pitching leaders for the softball team include Natalie Wiggins (.583), Lindsey Johnson (.571), Kate Vinson (.562), Sarah Dhaliwal (.500).
