Miss Atkins and Mr. Carter to wed March 24 at First Assembly of God
McKenzi Shayne Carter would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her parents, Heather McKenzie Atkins and Brandon Shane Carter. Heather is the daughter of Sandra Hall of Baxley and James and Dell Atkins of Helena. Brandon is the son of Kevin Carter and Alvin “Shaver” and Kathy Lightsey, all of Baxley.
Heather’s maternal grandparents are John “Humbo” and the late Johnnie Johnson of Baxley. Her paternal grandparents are Dub and Joanne Atkins of Chancey.
Brandon’s maternal grandparents are the late Allen and Barbara Dykes of Milledgeville. His paternal grandparents are Dwain and Linda Faye Carter of Waycross.
The wedding will be held March 24 at 6:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Baxley. Pastor Ronnie Rentz will be officiating the ceremony. Even though no invitations will be sent, all friends and family are welcome to attend.
