During the Appling County Board of Commissioners regular meeting held on Tuesday, March 6 the Commissioners recognized the family of the late District 3 Commissioner Jasper Tomberlin who were in attendance. A plaque with a photo of Tomberlin was read and given to the family with a second plaque to be placed outside the commission’s meeting room located is the Courthouse Annex.
Commissioners Ronnie Rentz, Charlie Leggett, Sarah Boatright and Theodore Wilkerson, along with County Chairman Lewis Parker and County Manager Lee Lewis, are shown presenting a plaque to the late Jasper Tomberlin family at a meeting held on March 6.
