Dear Editor,
I grew up that a man’s word was worth something special.
Man’s word good or not?
Week before last my nephew (Tony) had to be hospitalized for a week. Tony’s wife went to his boss and told them he would be back in a week. She was told his job was secure until he returned. Guess what? When he returned, yes! Someone else had been given his job. So I guess a man’s word means nothing anymore.
This local business wants their customers to believe they are Christians. My Bible reads, “Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them for this is the Law and the Prophets,” -Matthew 7:12. Also, Luke 6:31, “Just as you want men to do to you, also, do to them like wise.”
I would like to ask our community to pray for this Christian husband and father, also that he will find a better career with people who care for others.
