John Wesley Stone
John Wesley Stone, 60, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012. John Wesley was born Oct. 19, 1950 in Appling County to the late George Stone and the late Jessie Mae Hardwick Stone. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Stone was retired from Lewis Manufacturing.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Stone of Baxley; one daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Rodney Carter of Baxley; two sisters, Brenda Callaway of Baxley and Bonnie Aspinwall of Callahan, FL; three brothers, Wymon Stone of Brunswick, Waymon “Top” Stone of Baxley and Bill Stone of Americus; and two grandchildren, Dylan Carter and Bryan Carter also survive.
Memorial services were held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 at Riverside Baptist Church with the Rev. Justin McLellan officiating. Interment to follow at a later date.
Musical selections were rendered by Riverside Baptist Church Choir.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
