Library lady to be honored

The Friends of the Appling County Public Library cordially invite everyone to a retirement party honoring Annette Osborne on Monday, Jan. 23 at 7:00 p.m. Osborne recently retired after serving many years as Appling County Public Library Circulation Clerk and as Branch Manager. She also worked in the Appling County School System as Library Assistant at Appling County Primary, Jr. High and Appling County High School.

Annette has seen many changes in the library system from checking out books by hand to the present computer system, which does everything by scanning the bar codes.

Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to come and wish Annette Osborne a happy retirement.
