Barnell “Barnie” Livingston Crutchfield, 74, died peacefully Friday, January 6, 2012 at her granddaughter’s home surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Barnie was retired from Segals and Sons Jewelry; a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield and the Soul Survivors Sunday-School Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Livingston and Snow Snead Rowell; a sister, Hattie Mae McNeal and two brothers, Shirley Stone and Buck Livingston.
Survivors include her husband, Jack “Barry” Crutchfield; two daughters, Jan (Bo) Wells, Kim Beauware; one son, Ted Ray; one brother, Jerry Rowell; one sister, Ola Mae; three grandchildren, Mya Robertson, Billy Warmack, II and Branden Ray, ten other grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 8 at the Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service was at 11:30 a.m., Monday, January 9, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Springfield.
Burial was in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
