This past week the Appling Christian Academy Eagles traveled to Panama City Beach, Florida for the NHSA Championship. The Eagles played the Carolina Crusaders at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11.

Eagles play in NHSA Championship
At halftime the Eagles were ahead 22 to 8, but after halftime the momentum shifted toward the Crusaders who pulled ahead 36 to 30 with 28 seconds left in fourth quarter.
Andrew Phillips, Brandon Horton, Dallas Johnson and Wade Edwards received the All-Star player awards. But I think each player should get one for their outstanding game and for their unity.
We all praise God for a great season and pray He’ll be with us next year.
