The Plant Hatch radiological emergency exercise scheduled for November 2 will culminate with a public critique at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 4 at the E. I. Hatch Emergency News Center, located within the Georgia Power Company Complex at 111 Fowler Street in Vidalia.
Appling, Jeff Davis, Tattnall and Toombs County officials along with representatives from the Georgia Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security (GEMA), the Georgia Department of Natural Resources-Environmental Protection Division, Georgia Power Company, Plant Hatch, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will be available to discuss the exercise and to answer questions.
