There was no way the seniors won. The Juniors deserved to win. Anyone with eyes can see that the Juniors was the best! The other floats were great, but they were not up to par with the Juniors. I just don't get it?!

I think it is ridiculous that the Jr. Class didn’t win. Obviously the faculty of ACHS had something to do with it and I think they are setting a "great" example to the students of ACHS and the citizens of Appling County on how things should be settled. Where have people’s morals gone??

Well for your information (in reference to former posts) us seniors have worked our tails off for four years, I do believe we deserve a little respect from our underclassmen. We are the class of 2012 and we will fight till the end!

I personally think you are jealous that the seniors are better than the Jr's. There may be more of them than us, but we have more pride.

The Junior Class was talked about tremendously, and we never stated the senior float was bad...it was a good second place float. But, the entire school spread rumors about us, saying that only teachers worked on the float, and that we did not deserve to win after winning every year since we came to high school. It was almost as if we were punished for that. But, I can testify that us students were at the school until one oclock every night, and worked the entire time. The Junior Float was wonderful, and the whole town knew it...and at the football game, parents, teachers, and even some seniors were shocked at the results. But, regardless, the vote cannot be changed now, and, in the end, the county knows whose float was the best, and that is all that counts! Watch out next year...the class of 2013 will prevail!

I know for a fact the juniors worked their tails off also.. staying at the school til midnight during the week, spending their weekends doing it, etc.. They had fun doing every bit of it! ..and You think that the Sr.'s deserve a little respect?? ..okay i give it to yall that yall have been trying to win for four years and havent succeeded until this year! Were the floats judged by how good and creative the floats were or on who deserved respect? Congratulations on winning the sympathy award because some judge had a lil "senior sympathy!!"
