Ben Wells live in concert
This season the Arts Council of Appling County is excited to broaden our artistic scope and invite Georgia Country Music Award Nominee Ben Wells and the Ben Wells Band to our area. The band will be hitting our stage on October 8 at 7:00 pm in the Fine Arts Center.
Ben’s original songs “Valdosta Rain” and “Be With You” are making waves in the industry both regionally and nationally. We are excited to introduce this talented group of musicians to a new audience and long-time fans in this region.
What started out as a few acoustic YouTube videos is raising nationwide interest as his single “Valdosta Rain” has been released in multiple markets from Dallas, Texas to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and even Columbus, Ohio. Along the way, Ben has joined with fellow musicians Stephen Deloach, Rodney Baldwin and Josh Hughes, and their diverse backgrounds only strengthen the sound and music. This is a very talented group, and they work hard to give the audience and the music everything they’ve got.
Having shared the stage with the likes of Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Sugarland and Brooks and Dunn, they have proven that they have the chops to make it in the business by putting together an excellent show, and being loyal to their very strong fan base. It is a group of fans that grows daily as the band’s singles gain airtime across the country.
The Arts Council of Appling County is proud to welcome this group to kick off our 2011-2012 season with a show that is sure to satisfy even the toughest country connoisseurs.
