The annual ACHS Homecoming Parade will be held on Thursday, October 6 at 5:30 p.m. Line-up begins at 4:45 p.m.
Entry form, money, and disclaimer forms must be turned in at Appling County High School by 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5. You will be notified of your number in the parade lineup Thursday by 10:00 a.m. Please provide a phone number or email address so we can get this information to you as quickly as possible.
2011 ACHS Homecoming Parade information given
Parade disclaimer(s) must accompany the parade entry form. No one participating in the parade is to be allowed access to the vehicle/float without a signed disclaimer.
Enter the parade lineup area by turning off Highway 341 onto Oak Street. From this direction numbers are written on the right side of the road going from higher to lower numbers down Oak Street, right onto Industrial Drive, and right onto Martin Luther King Drive. We need you to enter this way so you are facing the correct direction for the parade processional. There is VERY little room to turn around so for traffic management please enter lineup from this direction.
The parade will begin from the red light at Martin Luther King Drive and Highway 341 (beside KFC). The parade will end at Appling HealthCare parking lot. Please make sure all your group participants know this information prior to the parade.
Appling County High School officials, administrators, and activity advisers are absolved and released from any claims for personal injuries that might be sustained while driving, riding, or participating in the 2011 Homecoming Parade.
