Hattie Elizabeth Stone McNeal
Hattie Elizabeth Stone McNeal, 87, of Graham, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011. Mrs. McNeal was born in Atlanta but lived most of her life in Jeff Davis County. She was the daughter of the late Snow Luella Stone Rowell and the wife of the late Edward David McNeal. Mrs. McNeal was preceded in death by a son, Michael David McNeal and a brother, Shirley Stone. She was a homemaker and a member of Consolation Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and L.C. Taylor of Graham; three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Debra McNeal, Daniel (Boonie) and Shelly McNeal, all of Graham and Glynn and Patty McNeal of Jesup; one daughter-in-law, Becky McNeal of Elloree, S.C.; one sister and brother-in-law, Barnell and Barry Crutchfield of Springfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sharon Rowell of Savannah; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 in the chapel of Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst.
Active pallbearers were Anthony McNeal, Joshua McNeal, Ryan Carter, Zachary McDowell, Chris Stone and Matthew Stone.
Arrangements were under the direction of Miles Funeral Home of Hazlehurst.
