Baxley Police Officer terminated
Chief of Police James Godfrey reports that on August 30, 2011, Officer Johnny Nettles of the Baxley Police Department was terminated for an incident involving misconduct and that all of his appeal rights have been exhausted.
Godfrey also stated that the incident has been referred to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation office in Douglas for further investigation.
