Scoring recap
-The Trojans were able to get the first score of the game late in the first quarter on a 15-yard touchdown pass making the score with the extra point 0-7.
-The Pirates were able to answer on their ensuing drive. After starting at their own 30, the Pirates were able to drive the ball down the field ending with a four-yard touchdown run by CJ Nails. The extra point attempt was no good making the score 6-7.
-The Trojans were able to take back the lead in the second quarter on another touchdown pass making the score with the extra point 6-14.
-The Pirates were able to answer right back with a 92-yard kickoff return by Jordan Vann for a touchdown. The Pirates would also pick up the two-point conversion on a pass from Lashune Moore to Byron Buxton to even the score at 14-14.
-The Trojans would get the last score of the first half on a long pass making the score with the extra point 14-21.
-The Pirates defense would come out strong to start the second half recovering a Trojan fumble at the Trojan 36. The Pirates would later score on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Moore to Vann. Israel Jaramillo added the extra point making the score 21-21.
-The Pirates would get the last score of the contest late in the third quarter starting at their own 35 and ending with a 16-yard touchdown run by Nails. Jaramillo added the extra point to make the final score 28-21.
