The Appling County Friends of the Library will be holding an open meeting on Monday September 19. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room of the Appling County Public Library. Anyone who is interested in joining the Friends of the Library or learning about upcoming library events is welcome to come.
Appling County Friends of the Library to hold open meeting
The meeting will focus on how to improve library awareness and how to encourage more people to enjoy services offered by the library.
There will also be a sign up sheet for people who are interested in volunteering to work on upcoming projects.
The Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to working with the library to help improve the quality of library services. The Friends of the Library helps raise money for the library through book sales and donations and supports the library by sponsoring events, such as author readings, for the public.
