Ball and Robinson to Wed
Marion Paula Ball of Klingenberg am Main, Bavaria, Germany announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Nicola Heike Ball, to Derek Leon Robinson, son of Bart and Christine Robinson.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Herbert and Alma Ball of Moenchberg, Bavaria, Germany.
Nicola is a 2005 graduate of The Advanced Academy of Georgia. She attended University of West Georgia, graduating with Honors in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Economic Affairs and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She received her Master of Business Administration Degree in 2009 and a Master of Business Education Degree in 2011 from the University of West Georgia. Nicola is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi.
The groom-elect is the paternal grandson of the late Walter Robinson of Atlanta and the late Bessie Robinson Thompson of Madison. Maternal grandparents are the late David “Bubba” Williams, Jr. and Drissie Mae Howard Williams of Baxley.
Derek is a 2003 graduate of Appling County High School. He attended the University of West Georgia.
He is currently employed with T-Mobile USA in Newnan, Ga.
The wedding ceremony will be held August 26th, at 5:30 in the evening at the Old Decatur Courthouse on the Square in Decatur, Ga. A private reception will follow the ceremony.
