Lady Pirates defeat Pierce County 58-40

The Appling County Lady Pirates defeated the Pierce County Lady Bears 58-40 on Friday, February 4. The Lady Pirates record stands at 17-6 overall and 13-4 in region 2AA play.


The Lady Pirates still have a chance to finish second in the region since they are currently tied with Tattnall County with four region losses. The Lady Pirates final region contest will be Friday, February 11 at Jeff Davis. Tattnall County will play two region contests beginning at home on Tuesday, February 8 against Long County and will finish at Saint Vincent’s Academy on Friday.

The Lady Pirates final regular season game will be Saturday, February 12 against Wayne County in Baxley. All the games are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
