Hazel Malone
Hazel Malone, 80, of St. Mary’s, died Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Senior Care Center in St. Mary’s.
Mrs. Malone was born November 14, 1930 in Baxley, to the late William and Lois Gertrude Sellers. Her husband, Jack Malone, also preceded her in death.
She had resided in Camden County since 1954 and was of the Baptist Faith. She loved to fish and always looked forward to her family reunions that she loved so much every year.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 9, at 11:00 a.m. from the graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Bob Hughes officiating.
The family received friends Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Mary’s.
Survivors include her son, Patrick Malone of Kingsland; sister, Merl Coe of Darien; brother, Holt Sellers of Baxley; two grandchildren, Kayla Malone and Patrick Malone, II and several nieces and nephews.
Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Mary’s was in charge of arrangements.
