Elizabeth Ann Bowyer
Elizabeth Ann Bowyer, 65, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick. Mrs. Bowyer was born July 24, 1945 to the late Emmett Mack Moody and the late Doris Vivian Combs Moody. She was a member of Surrency Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Eschol Eugene Bowyer of Baxley; one daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Wade Purvis of Alamo; one son, Eschol Bowyer of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Virginia Hamm of Graham and Marsha (Charles) Hubbard of Baxley; two brothers, Emmett (Betty) Moody of Surrency and Isaac (Brenda) Moody of Hazlehurst; and one grandchild also survives.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 21 in the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Horne officiating. Interment followed in Omega Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Martin Crapps, David Gruber, Miles Vaughn, Trampis Carter, Bryson Moody and Jared Crapps.
Honorary pallbearers were all in attendance.
Musical selections were rendered by April Hester.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
