Zackery Marvin Lee
Zackery Marvin Lee, 65, died Sunday, July 17, 2011 in Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Mr. Lee was born May 16, 1946 in Atlanta to the late Marvin Turner Lee and the late Zada Jane Beasley Bennett. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Zackery was preceded in death by a special friend, Lewis Kennedy.
Survivors include his sister, Cathrin (Gary) Yawn, one nephew, Gary E. (Charity) Yawn and one niece, Carrie Lee Yawn, all of Baxley.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20 in the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Virginia Herrington officiating. Interment followed in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Gary Bird, Kelly Bird, Buddy Smith, Brandon Beasley, Herschel Miles and Joe Edenfield.
Honorary pallbearers were all friends in attendance.
Musical selections were rendered by Deborah Johnson.
Remembrances may be made to ASPCA and Disabled Veterans.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
