The regular meeting of the Baxley City Council was held March 24 at 8:30 a.m. During the meeting City Manager Jeff Baxley recommended that an overflow downspout for a cost of $7,000.00, needed to be installed on the elevated water tank at the Water Works Park. Councilwoman Betty Livingston made a first motion, with Councilman Mickey Bass giving the second, to install the overflow downspout, at a cost of $7,000.00, on the elevated tank. This was unanimously approved.
