Members of the Temple of the Higher Calling and the Appling Ministerial Alliance hosted this year’s annual Back to School’s Bash on Saturday, July 23, at the Appling County High School from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Families in the community lined up beyond the Fine Arts building and across the parking lot to receive lessons in healthy cooking and eating, various health screenings including athlete physicals, free school supplies and food, as well as prayers and clothes. Forty-one vendors from not only Appling County, but across the state, participated with samples and information about their services.
