Bane and Rosa Courson of Hazlehurst are pleased to announce the upcoming wedding of their daughter, Brittnay Courson, to Jon Spell, son of Steve and Jeanne Spell of Baxley.
The bride-elect is the birth daughter of Ronald LaRoche of Hazlehurst and the late Michelle McRea of Douglas. She is the granddaughter of Roger LaRoche and the late Shirley LaRoche of Hazlehurst.
Miss Courson graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 2009 and is currently studying Education at South Georgia College and will transfer to Valdosta State University to continue her studies.
The future groom is the grandson of Mildred Collett of Baxley and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Spell also of Baxley.
Mr. Spell graduated in 2006 from Appling Christian Academy and is currently studying Biology as a Pre-Med student at Valdosta State University.
The couple met on a mission trip in Tennessee and have been dating since November 2009.
The August 6 wedding will take place at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Hazlehurst, at 4:00 p.m.,with the Rev. James Lightsey and the Rev. Scottie Pitts presiding. A reception will follow at the Mt. Zion Learning Center reception hall.
