Ruthie Mae Paulk Barber
Ruthie Mae Paulk Barber, 79, of Baxley, died Thursday, December 30, 2010, in the Altamaha Healthcare Center after an extended illness. The Appling County native was a member of the Zion Church of God and a homemaker. She was the widow of James Barber and was predeceased by her parents: E. V. and Nellie Storey Paulk, sister: Evelyn Taylor, and two brothers: Alvin Paulk and Pete Paulk.
Survivors are a sister and brother-n-law: Faye P. and Franklin Lewis of Jesup, and several nieces and nephews.
Private memorial services were held by the family.
The Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, was in charge of the arrangements.
