Gunshot wound leaves one dead

According to Appling County Sheriff Benny Deloach at approximately 6:25 p.m. on January 25, Wendell Clint Quinn, age 33, of Baxley, was found in his vehicle deceased from a single gunshot wound to the head.

No foul play is suspected at this time. The incident is being investigated by the Appling County Sheriff’s Office.
