Ryan “Big Red” Alexander Hill, 22, died June 13, 2011. Mr. Hill was born Feb. 20, 1989 in Baxley to Freddie Hill and Karen Bell Hill. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Delois Bell Crosby.
Survivors include his mother, Karen Hill of Graham; his father, Freddie (Angela) Hill of Graham; three brothers, Bryan Hill and Jessie Owens, both of Brunswick and Christopher Hill of Hinesville; two sisters, Jardé Hill of Graham and Crystal Conway of Tuskegee, AL; grandparents, Hosea and Betty Hill of Graham; grandfather, Jerry Crosby of Baxley and a great-grandmother, Bertha Hill of Graham.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18 at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church in Graham with the Rev. Lavern Vann officiating and the eulogy given by Bishop George M. Thomas. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Brooks Jones, Sr., Tremaine Richburg, Chris Clemons, Sheldon Knight, Theodore Oglesby, Chase Bell and Tony Bennett.
Honorary pallbearers were cousins and friends.
Musical selections were rendered by The Angels of Echoes and Antonio Wilson.
