Lee Reynolds, Jr., 63, of Baxley, died on September 13, 2015, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. Reynolds was born July 14, 1952 in Appling County to the late Jonathon Lee Reynolds and the late Juanita Tillman Reynolds. He was a member of Crosby Chapel United Methodist Church, Slum’s Cruisers and Poor Boy’s Cruisers. He was a truck driver for Beasley Timber Company.
Survivors include his wife, Belinda Reynolds of Baxley; one daughter, Chrisie (Wayne) Waters of Baxley; two sons, Dan (Ann) Reynolds of Vidalia and Lee (Lindsey) Reynolds of Baxley; one sister, Shirley (James) Davis of Alma; three brothers, Donald (Cecile) Reynolds of Stockbridge, Charlie (Roxanne) Reynolds of Newnan, and Jimmy Reynolds of Alma; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Allen of Baxley; and his brother-in-law, Daniel “Hot Rod” Davis of Baxley. Ten grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles “Buddy” Coss and Joe Sannutti officiating. Interment followed in Crosby Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Drew Sickles, Mickey Taylor, Cole Harrison, Mitchell Stidham, Glynn Stone, Stanley Miller, and Yates Chauncey.
Honorary pallbearers were David and Janice Culpepper, Eddie Wheeler, Harry Mosley, Jerry and Alene Thomas, Slum’s Cruisers, Steve Hall, and Bobby Mathews.
Musical selections were rendered by Vicki Dyal and Teresa Deen.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
