Van and Lynda Carter of Baxley and Travis and Cathy Cason of Hazlehurst proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Caitlin Lea Carter and Tyler Harrell Cason.
Caitlin is the maternal granddaughter of Quinton and Ellie Hutto of Vidalia, and the paternal granddaughter of Bonnie Carter and the late Wallace Carter of Baxley.
Carter and Cason to exchange vows July 2
The bride-elect is a 2004 honor graduate of Appling County High School and a 2008 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Rehab Science. She is currently attending North Georgia College and State University where she is pursuing a Doctoral of Physical Therapy degree.
Tyler is the maternal grandson of the late Elton and Catherine Harrell of Hazlehurst, and the paternal grandson of the late Frank and Geneva Cason of Jesup. He is a 2004 graduate of Jeff Davis High School, 2006 graduate of South Georgia College, and a 2008 graduate of Valdosta State University where he earned his bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. In 2009 he graduated with his master’s in Special Education from Valdosta State University and is currently employed by the Appling County Board of Education. The wedding will take place on July 2 at 2:00 in the evening at Spring Branch Baptist Church in Baxley.
All family and friends are invited to attend. The couple will reside in Hazlehurst after their marriage.
