Miles-Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral services for Billie Bliss Tillman Kerr, 58, who passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Appling County and a former paraprofessional at Altamaha Elementary School and Appling Primary School. She was a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church and the Genesis Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her son, Clint Quinn and her parents, W.B. “Bill” and Thelma Tillman.
Survivors include her husband of ten years, Steve Kerr; four sons, Jerrod Quinn, Thomas Quinn, Robby Kerr and wife, Allison and Rusty Kerr; a granddaughter, Kamdyn Quinn; a daughter in-law, Kaci Quinn; a brother, Willie Tillman and wife, Melanie; a sister, Holly Carter; a niece, Jenny Mock and husband, Sam; three nephews, Josh Branch and wife, Mandy, Jessie Tillman and wife, Jennifer and Jody Tillman and wife, Nicole; and ten great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Tommy Daniels and the Reverend Rick Brown officiating.
Visitation was held one hour prior to funeral services at the church.
Interment will follow at a later date at Ten Mile Cemetery Extension at Oldfield.
Active pallbearers were Tillman Mock, Josh Branch, Sam Mock, Bryce Branch, Jessie Tillman and Jody Tillman.
Honorary pallbearers were the Genesis Sunday School class at Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church.
