Please take Notice that the right to redeem the following described property, to wit: Map & Parcel B003-074, more particularly described as follows:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the City of Baxley, Appling
County, Georgia, consisting of one city lot and being a portion of original Land
Lot 341 and being described as follows: Beginning at an iron stob on the west side of Troup Street and running in a westerly direction at right angles from Troup Street for a distance of 100 feet; thence turning and running in a northerly direction for a distance of 70 feet; thence turning and running in an easterly direction for a distance of 100 feet to the west edge of Troup Street thence turning and running along the west edge of the right-of-way of Troup Street for a distance of 70 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said lands are bounded now or formerly as follows: North by lands of R. L. Troup; East by Troup Street; South by other lands of A. L. Edgerton and W. M. Moody and West by lands of H. L. Bryant Estate. This being the same land conveyed from A. L. Edgerton and W.M. Moody to Carrie Lee Elgie by warranty deed dated January 13, 1962, and recorded in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Appling County, Georgia, in Deed Book 117, page 132. will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred on and after the 8th day of October, 2014.
The tax deed to which this notice relates is dated August 6, 2013, and is recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Appling County, Georgia, in Deed Book 502 at Page 567.
The property may be redeemed at any time before October 8, 2014, by payment of the redemption price as fixed and provided by law to the undersigned at the following address: 4 South Lee Street, Baxley, GA 31513.
