This past Friday night, the Eagles played the Victory Christian Academy Warriors in Loganville. The Eagles came out with a quick start, scoring 16 points in the first few minutes of the first quarter. After another Eagles touchdown, the Warriors answered making it 24-8. Cole Livingston answered back with a kick-off return, making it 32-8 at the half.
The first play of the second half, the Eagles defense forced a fumble. They capitalized on this opportunity by scoring once more making it 40-8. The Warriors scored once more in the fourth, which would be the last time they would put it in the end zone. And after a run by back-up quarterback Chance Carter for a two-point conversion, the final score would be 48-14.
This week the Eagles have an open week and their next game is in Savannah against Coastal Christian.
