Jo Anne Miller Quarterman, 66, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, August 18, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Quarterman was born January 1, 1948 in Coffee County to the late Bill Miller and the late Lillian Carter Miller. She was retired from Baxley Federal Savings Bank with 25 years of service and was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Miller.
Survivors include her husband, Don Quarterman of Hazlehurst; two daughters, Dana and Tim Roberson of Hazlehurst and Dawn and Kevin Jump of Cochran; two sisters, Melcene and Mike Yawn of Waynesville and Sharon Kay and Rick Wiggs of Jacksonville, FL.; two brothers, Billy Ray and Aldine Miller and Dan and Melinda Miller, all of Hazlehurst; six grandchildren, Anna Jordan, Mikayla Stanton, both of Hazlehurst, Lee Jump, John-Christopher Jump and Joe Jump, all of Cochran and Kate Roberson of Higgston, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, August 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakland Baptist Church with the Rev. Royce Hulett and the Rev. Keith Yawn officiating.
Active pallbearers were Wayne Kirkland, Bo Tobler, Bobby McNeal, Greg Miller, Rodney Miller and Matthew Yawn.
Musical selections were rendered by Ann Walters and Vic Brantley.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
