Diann D. Fulton, 67, of Baxley, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 in the Pavilion.
Mrs. Fulton was born April 21, 1947 in Hamlet, North Carolina. She was a seamstress at Douglas and Harper Mfg. and also worked as a waitress at the Huddle House. Fulton was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husbands, T.C. Carter and Willie Fulton, her parents, Lyman Willis Moody and Mildred Davis Moody and a sister, Linda Kaye Sturgis.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Laney Gay and Amy and Ricky Carter, all of Baxley; and four grandsons, Logan Gay, Zachary Gay, Ian Carter and Austin “P-nut” Carter, all of Baxley; two sisters, Patricia Danforth and Diana Yutmeyer; two brothers, Victor Elick and Gene Elick; and one aunt, Nina Elick.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 20 at 3:00 p.m. from Riverside Baptist Church with the Rev. Justin McLellan officiating and a Eulogy given by Ian Carter. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Logan Gay, Zachary Gay, Ian Carter, Austin “P-nut” Carter, Jason Carter, and Judd Carter.
Honorary pallbearers were the Huddle House employees and Huddle House friends, members of the Adult Sunday School Class of Riverside Baptist Church and Comfort Care Hospice.
Musical selections were rendered by Taaffe and Loni Crosby and Glynda Reeves.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
