Sarah Dhaliwal is the 2014 Appling Christian Academy Salutatorian. Sarah is the daughter of Jay and Pam Dhaliwal. She has been an ACA student for fourteen years, starting in the four year old preschool program.
She has been a member of ACA Christian Honor Society for three years and FCA for two years. Sarah was a member of the Lady Eagles basketball team for seven years, being a member of the 2012, 2013, and 2014 GCAA Varsity State Basketball Championship team and the 2013 National Championship team. She has received several awards while playing basketball including: Best Defensive Player, NACA All-Tournament team, Hustle Award, and the Eagle Award. Among playing basketball, Sarah has also played softball for two years being part of the 2012 State Championship team. She has played volleyball for three years where she has won the Best Blocker and Sportsmanship Award and a member of the 2011, 2012, 2013 GCAA Volleyball State Championship team.
Sarah has been on the “A” Honor Roll all four years of high school and on the Principal’s List her junior year. She has received special recognition in Spanish, algebra 2 and chemistry. Sarah was elected amongst her peers both the 2012 and 2013 ACA Homecoming Court.
After graduation, Sarah plans to attend Georgia Southern University for her undergraduate’s degree. She will further her education pursuing a career in pharmacy with a minor in business management.
