On Thursday, April 24, 2014, Dwayne “Baby Hulk” Washington, received his wings and took his seat in Heaven. Dwayne was born June 9, 1966 and raised in Miami, Florida, to the parentage of Adolph and Lois Washington. He was the baby boy of 15 children; the father of two daughters and one adopted son. He was an amazing brother and an awesome uncle. Dwayne enjoyed the majority of his adult life in New Jersey and traveled often back and forth to Georgia to be amongst his immediate family. Such an inspiration, Dwayne encouraged himself and lifted others by sharing life experiences. Through scriptures and song he inspired others with his testimony and his personal relationship with God. He will surely be missed and forever remain in our hearts.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his father, Adolph “Billy” Washington, his mother, Lois Washington; three brothers, Greg, Donald and Melvin and three sisters, Cookie, Sylvia and Gennell.
He is survived by two daughters, Samona of New Jersey and Savannah of Kansas; four sisters, Sabrina of Sarasota, FL, Yolanda (Charlie) of Albany, Shana (Carl) of Douglas and Sharon (Willie) of Sarasota, FL; four brothers, Lamar (Carolyn) Anchorage, AK, John (Brenda) of Baxley, Gerald (Geraldine) of Miami, FL and Jimmy of Miami, FL; a very special nephew, Michael (Cynthia) of Port St. Lucie, FL; two aunts, Lula Mae Weaver of Deerfield Beach, FL and Addie of Miami, FL; one uncle, Bobby (Whitie) Washington of Miami, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
