Kenazjah Jakiyah Jackson died Friday, January 7, 2011. Kenazjah was born April 24, 2008 to William Sharpe, Jr. and Tranethia Jackson of Baxley. She loved her baby sister. Kenazjah was a brave little girl and a very special little angel. She loved Dora the Explorer. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Rose Lee Freeman.
In addition to her loving parents, her siblings, Deiajah Jackson and Tyneshia Jackson also survive her. Other survivors include her grandparents, Betty Jackson of Baxley, Donnie Jordon of Augusta, William Sharpe Sr. of Bristol and Tammy Knowles of Florida.; great-grandmother, Ophelia Sharpe of Bristol, aunts, Shirley (Brooke) Jackson of Baxley, Nicole Sharpe and Tammy (Bo) Presley, both of Bristol and Rose Jackson of Arcadia, Fla.; uncles, Oscar Jackson of Bristol, Michael (Yvette) Freeman of Baxley and Brandon Knowles of Florida; and a host of great-aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. January 15 at New Jerusalem Holiness Unto the Lord with Pastor Sarah Ruth Mims officiating. Interment followed in Old Field Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers were James Robinson, Joseph Freeman, Kendall King, Jawan Ingram, William Banks and Stanford King.
Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Coates, Lamar Jackson, Hubert Mims, Michael Freeman, Ronnie Mims and Venus Mims.
Musical selections were rendered by Melvin and the AllStars, Tammy Richburg and Tina Crayton.
Arrangements were under the direction of Baxley Funeral Home.
