Bentson and Varnadoe to wed in June 11 ceremony
Scott Bentson of Victoria, TX and Stacy Bentson of Hazlehurst are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Stephani D’Anne Bentson, to Jordan Chase Varnadoe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Varnadoe of Hazlehurst.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mary Atchley and the late Jon Mac Atchley of McRae and the late John Herring of Macon. She is the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Short of Tucson, AZ, the late Donavon Bentson of Helena, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Powell of Helena.
She is a 2006 graduate of Telfair County High School and attended Valdosta State University after graduation. She is currently employed at Southern EyeCare in Hazlehurst.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kendell Stone of Hazlehurst and the paternal grandson of Betty E. and the late Samuel Dean Varnadoe of Lumber City.
He is a 2006 graduate of Jeff Davis High School and will graduate summa cum laude in May 2011 from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear and Radiological Engineering.
The couple will wed Saturday, June 11, at 6:00 p.m. at McRae United Methodist Church in McRae with a reception to follow in the church social hall.
No local invitations will be sent. However, all friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend.
