Wiley and Emily Thornton of Baxley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Ann Craven, to Bryan Keith Harrelson, the son of Keith and Gayla Harrelson and Scott and Kay Griffin, both of Hazlehurst.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Tom and Ann Craven of Baxley and paternal granddaughter of DeWayne and Hazel Thornton of Screven.
Amy is a 2007 honor graduate of Appling County High School. She is also a 2011 honor graduate of Georgia Southern University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. Amy is currently attending South University of Savannah for a Master’s of Physician Assistant degree and will graduate in June of 2014 and be employed in Statesboro.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of Danny and Barbara Varnedore of Hazlehurst, Lamar and Frances Bowen of Douglas and Bill and Molly Hinson of Hazlehurst. He is the paternal grandson of Wendell and Laura Harrelson of Hazlehurst, George and Janet Taylor of Waycross and Randy Griffin of Waycross.
Bryan is the 2006 graduate of Jeff Davis County High School. He is also a 2011 graduate of Georgia Southern University where he received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Management. He is currently employed at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center as an Area Manager in Statesboro.
The wedding ceremony will be held November 30 at five-thirty in the evening at Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church, 3785 Ten Mile Road NE, Baxley. The reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the Ten Mile Church social hall. No local invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend.
