Jody and Michelle Carter are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Jenna Leigh.

Jenna was born at 1:46 a.m. on April 12, 2011 at Appling Healthcare System. Jenna weighed nine pounds and five ounces and was 20-1/4 inches long at birth. Dr. Catherine Jackson-Evans was the attending physician.

Jenna is the maternal granddaughter of Linda and Richard Nix and the paternal granddaughter of Eleanor and Reno Carter.

Jenna was welcomed home by her big brother, Jake Carter.
