Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church will be hosting a screening of Erik Estrada’s latest film, Finding Faith, on Monday evening, September 23 at 6:30. Erik, star of the popular TV show, CHIPs will be on hand to host the screening, sign autographs and allow pictures with individuals.
Along with being a TV star, movie star and author, Erik Estrada is also the National Executive Director of the “Safe Surfin’ Foundation,” a program to inform parents, teens and children on the dangers of Internet social-networking sites.
The film is a full-length narrative style documentary, taken directly from the files of Sheriff Mike Brown, of the Virginia Law Enforcement Task Force that rescues missing children. Finding Faith is the story of the abduction, search for and rescue of Faith, a 14-year-old girl, who was taken by an Internet predator. The film is an edge-of-your-seat, drama, highlighting the work of the International Crimes Against Children Task Force. Many of the rescues of these missing and exploited children are down-to-the-wire, with deliverance coming just minutes before harm or death is about to occur.
