Toby and Angie Cauley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Hilary “Brooke” Cauley, to Austin Randy Crosby, the son of Randy and Bonnie Crosby.
The bride-to-be is the maternal granddaughter of Lila Tillman and the late Donald Tillman, as well as the paternal granddaughter of Dane and Annie Ruth Cauley, all from Baxley.
Brooke is a 2012 graduate with distinction from Appling County High School and is currently attending Okefenokee Technical College of Alma to pursue her degree in Nursing while working full-time at Twin Oaks Convalescent Center in Alma as a Restorative Nursing Assistant.
The groom-to-be is the maternal grandson of Jean Clements and the late James Clements, as well as Jerry and Louise Thomas, all of Alma. He is the paternal grandson of Robert and Shirley Crosby, both from Baxley.
Austin is a 2007 honor graduate with dual seals from Appling County High School, a 2009 honor graduate from South Georgia College with an associate’s degree in Spanish, and a 2011 graduate from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in modern languages with a concentration in Spanish. He is currently working with the family business of Crosby Vault Company while looking for a position as a local Spanish teacher, as well as doing some interpretation, translation and tutoring in his spare time.
Shine up your best boots, grab a pair of blue jeans, and dust off that old cowboy hat because Brooke and Austin are getting hitched Saturday, September 28 at 5:00 p.m. They ask that all their friends and family come join them for their special day at “Woody Folsom’s Farm” in Baxley on Philippi Church Road as they say their vows.
