It’s a boy-Smith!
Dustin and Ashley Smith of Cedarcrossing are proud to announce the birth of their son, Matthew Dalton Smith. He was born at 7:31 a.m. on Feb. 1, 2011 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.
Matthew weighed seven pounds, five ounces and was 19 inches long at birth. Attending physician was Dr. Hubert Suber. He was welcomed home by his big sister, Scarlette Grace, with hugs and kisses.
Maternal grandparents are Glynn and Lisa Pearce of Surrency. Matthew’s maternal great-grandparents are Wanda Ammons of Baxley, James and Kathy Ammons of Dalton and Lena L. Pearce and the late William J. Pearce of Surrency.
He is also welcomed home by maternal great-great-grandmother, Thelma Ammons of Parrott.
Paternal grandparents are William (Billy) and Sandra Smith of Baxley. Matthew’s paternal great-grandparents are John and Gladys Sikes of Baxley.
Aunts and uncles, Jana Pearce, Devin Pearce and Rusty and Rachel Smith, also welcomed him home.
