Robbie and Ronda Sauls of Blackshear are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rachel Suzanne Sauls, to Michael Dustin (Dusty) Arnold, son of Tony and Connie Arnold of Baxley.
Miss Sauls is the maternal granddaughter of Darrell and Sue Thomas of Blackshear and the paternal granddaughter of Robert and Louise Sauls of Blackshear.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Pierce County High School, attended Waycross College and graduated in 2013 from Luther Rice Seminary and University with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Counseling. She is currently employed as a worship leader.
The bridegroom-elect is the maternal grandson of the late Bill and Willene Dell of Baxley and the paternal grandson of Etta Craig and the late Dale Craig of Cochran.
Mr. Arnold is a 2008 honor graduate of Appling County High School and received STAR student, English Cup, Bausch & Lomb Science Award and John Sousa Band Award during his high school career. He attended
Waycross College and graduated from Brewton Parker College in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in English. Arnold was awarded the Pam Stille Quinn Award for excellence in Humanities from Waycross College and while attending Brewton Parker College received Highest CAAP score and was also inducted into Pi Gamma Mu and Sigma Tau Delta.
Arnold is currently employed as a youth pastor at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Baxley.
The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at 7:30 p.m. July 13 at the Old Brantley Brick Warehouse (Bridge Community Church) next to the post office located on the corner of Main Street and Park Street in Blackshear. Invitations have been mailed. All family and friends are invited to attend and join the couple in celebrating this joyous occasion.
