Kelvin and Angie Wilcox of Hazlehurst are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming June marriage of their daughter, Lauren Ashley Wilcox of Hazlehurst, to Jordan Taylor Ball, son of Anthony and Dianne Ball of Baxley.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Benny and Eleanor Joyner of Hazlehurst and Charles and Wilene Kight of Hazlehurst. She is the paternal granddaughter of Keith and Shirley Wilcox of Hazlehurst.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of the late Mack Comer Beam and Mary Lou Beam of Section, AL. He is the paternal grandson of Jimmy Ray Ball and Edna Louise Ball of Odum.
Miss Wilcox attended Jeff Davis High School in Hazlehurst and graduated in 2010. She is currently attending South Georgia State College and pursuing a Chemistry degree. She is currently employed by Coffee Regional Medical Center as a pharmacy technician in Douglas.
Ball is a 2008 graduate of Appling County High School. He is currently attending Lee University and pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Church Leadership with a Youth Ministry focus.
He is currently serving as the Children’s Pastor at the Baxley Church of God in Baxley.
The couple will wed June 1 at seven o’clock in the evening at Oakhill Plantation in Hazlehurst.
The couple is registered with several local businesses.
